Yester Years

I was born in New York, and when I was in high school, I read an issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly that had an article on colleges for Video Game Design. The #2 school listed was UAT, where I decided to attend and major in Video Game Design. Later, I decided that it wasn't for me, and instead decided to major in Digital Art and Design. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2006.

I secured an internship as a Graphic Designer in January 2006 which became a full-time position in June 2006. I worked there through May 2007, at which point I moved to Japan.

Nowadays

I've been working as an English teacher in Japan since June 2007 and will be moving back to New York at the end of October of this year. I've done a bit of freelance design for my former employer while living in Japan, but I plan on finding a full-time creative job in New York.

Interests I enjoy pursuing in free time include activities such as drawing, Japanese study, photography, reading and video games. I also like exploring new places and discovering new musicians.
